A Literatura Arturiana na Idade Média: Fontes, Transformações e Permanências

Resumo Tendo como elementos unificadores a escrita em línguas românicas e a centralidade da corte de Artur na promoção e arremate das aventuras cavaleirescas, os primeiros textos literários de temática arturiana, produzidos entre as três primeiras décadas do século XII e a primeira metade do século XIII, guardam diferenças significativas no tratamento dos temas e do personagens e nos modos de utilização dos modelos culturais disponíveis. Essa renovação de formas e sentidos foi fundamental para o processo de afirmação e consolidação das identidades culturais e das formas de representação da realidade próprias aos grupos identificados com a noção de nobreza-cavalaria. Palavras-chave: Nobreza, Literatura arturiana, Cavalaria Abstract The first literary texts of Arthurian thematic that were made between the first three decades of the twelfth century and the first half of the thirteenth century, and that had as unifying elements the writing in romance languages and the centrality of the court of Arthur in the promotion and upshot of the knightly adventures keep significant differences in the treatment of the themesand the personages, and in the ways of use of the available cultural models. This renewal of shapes and meanings was essential for the process of affirmation and consolidation of the cultural identities and the shapes of representation of the reality proper to the groups identified with the nobility-chivalry notion.
