The present work intends to present the poetry workshops held by the author in Rio Grande (RS). The objective is to report the learning experience during its preparation, presentation and realization, from a project that emerged in the academic environment and was presented to the community, in a community-academy movement. (PRZYBYLSKI, 2018). Furthermore, we want to reflect on the ideas that led to the realization of the action, its planning, as well as the learning with the participants' narrative and the return of the poetry created in the workshops through the publication of the poems on a website, understanding them as writers, as urban-digital narrators. (PRZYBYLSKI, 2018). In this sense, the importance of decolonial studies will be highlighted, from Santos (2009), 2004), Quijano (2005), among others and others that prove the need to have a more accurate and critical look at our production and our peripheral poets.
