THE POETRY PRODUCED IN CONTEMPORANEITY IN CAXIAS-MA: INTERVIEW WITH SILVANA MENESES

Abstract

The richness of the literary text is manifested in the multiplicity of meanings that are known when talking about plural themes, collaborating in the formation of the reader's critical thinking. These aspects make literature indispensable to every person. However, what is sometimes observed is that the literary text is devoid of its importance and seen as irrelevant. Therefore, the present interview conducted with the Caxiense poet Silvana Meneses aims to discuss the author's literary production in the local scenario and, in parallel to this, situate the contemporary production of the city of Caxias-MA. Given that the author is part of the Caxiense Academy of Letters (ACL), her place of speech is endorsed by the contact she has with artists and artistic groups in the city. It should be pointed out that this interview is an integral part of a project that approaches the production of this writer from a linguistic-expressive focus, which has allowed to discuss her literary texts within the academic space.
