Abstract: homero is a poem that makes up the interartes project Também guardamos pedras aqui (2021) by Brazilian writer, actress and performer Luiza Romão. The project includes a poetry book, winner of the 2022 Jabuti Award and published by Editora Nós, and a film with performances by Romão for each of the poems. This study investigates the relationships between the book and the film mediums for the construction of the poem homero, since the book contains black stripes that censor words revealed in the adaptation of the text for the video. The methodology used is analytical-interpretative and it presents a theoretical contribution related to literature (FRIEDRICH, 1978; GENETTE, 2006), video (MELLO, 2008), performance (ZUMTHOR, 1997), representation (RANCIÈRE, 2012) and adaptation (STAM, 2006). The analysis demonstrates how each medium generates a different reception ritual, guiding the readings and interpretations, since the perception of meaning changes depending on the mediation. In addition, the integration of varied media in the construction of projects which contemplate different artistic products promotes an expansion of experiences with poetry.
