Abstract

Resumo: O objectivo deste artigo é apresentar a novidade e importância da obra de Jacques Le Goff para a historiografia da atualidade, bem como averiguar da sua relevância específica em Portugal. Aponta, por outro lado, certos traços do homem com as características que o tornaram figura inesquecível e marcante entre os seus contemporâneos. Abstract: The purpose or this paper is to present the novelty and importance of the work of Jacques Le Goff for the historiography of the present time, as well as to inquire about its specific relevance in Portugal. The article points out, on the other hand, certain traits of the man with the characteristics that made him an unforgettable and striking figure among his contemporaries.
