Abstract

Resumo O presente artigo examina as origens, morfologias e significados do mito das valkyrjor na Escandinávia Medieval. Como conclusão, observamos a relação intrínseca entre os símbolos religiosos e a ideologia social, refletindo padrões de legitimação da ordem política. Palavras-Chave: Mitologia germânica e escandinava, Arte, Religião Viking. Abstract The present article examines the origins, morphologies and meanings of the myth of the valkyrjor in Medieval Scandinavia. As conclusion, we observe the intrinsic relation between the religious symbols and the social ideology, reflecting standards of legitimation of the politic order.
