Abstract

Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as intervenções culturais que o rei Alfred, o Grande, realizou na Inglaterra Medieval e como elas foram utilizadas por Asser na constituição da narrativa de sua Vita Ælfredi Regis Angul Saxonum, que colaborou para a construção da imagem de Alfred como um rei “completo”.
