THE TIME OF “DEGLOBALIZATION”

Abstract

Making a macro reading, “globalization” must be seen, understood as a moment of acceleration of internationalization, on horseback of a renewed inter-imperialist struggle from the crisis of the seventies and, above all, after the collapse of the USSR, the latter fact that made the international situation similar to unipolarity. This situation, however, which lasted a very short time, we would say that barely a short decade, gave rise to a politico-military offensive of wide geographic scope (from the Balkans to Central Asia), which bogged down in Asia, from which emerged the great contest, between the Chinese mainland as a strategy against the tactical insularity of Trump’s US.
