Abstract

With the increase in extreme rainfall events related to climate change, soil erosion has become a growing concern among researchers, who seek to understand and to mitigate impacts through monitoring, control and recovery techniques. Therefore, this study aims at identifying the techniques for the recovery of areas degraded by gullies, applied in case studies carried out in Brazil, with a time frame for the year 2023, made available by the Google Scholar platform. The research is made relevant by the need to understand the techniques that are being used, as well as their effectiveness and efficiency, in the face of the impacts of climate change and extreme precipitation events. Finally, this work seeks at providing subsidies for future research on the theme of recovery of degraded areas, contributing to a sustainable management of soils.
