This article focuses on the multicultural teaching of languages (native or foreign) in cyberspace, aiming to provide understanding, respect, appreciation and the search for similarity in the culture of the other, thus bringing language students closer to natives of different countries. It is considered that a teaching practice focused on multicultural teaching can provide intercultural coexistence, since students who have the possibility of learning that is not restricted to the structure of the colonizer of a language, can recognize themselves in other cultures and thus, favor a possible intercultural educational process. During the research, an attempt was made to answer the following problem: “Can the search for similarity in the culture of the other, through the multicultural teaching of languages in cyberspace, contribute to an intercultural education?”. For this, a teaching methodology known as Project-Based Learning was used, through which an authorial project entitled “Conociendo los países hispanohablantes” was created, aimed at teaching Spanish in cyberspace. This article is characterized as an investigative field research, considering that the application of the project was necessary to verify its effectiveness.
