TRANSFORMAÇÕES QUÍMICAS: AS NOÇÕES DOS ESTUDANTES AO EXPLICAREM FATOS DE UMA HISTÓRIA

Resumo

O presente trabalho constitui-se em um estudo de caso desenvolvido com estudantes do ensino técnico integrado ao ensino médio. Foram desenvolvidas entrevistas organizadas a partir de uma história construída com o objetivo de contextualizar situações em que uma transformação química era analisada. Buscou-se conhecer as noções apresentadas pelos estudantes ao elaborarem explicações para os fatos abordados na história. Percebeu-se que os estudantes apresentam dificuldades em aplicar os conhecimentos estudados nas aulas de ciências e química para analisar fatos do cotidiano, e que utilizam noções diferentes das aceitas cientificamente. CHEMICAL TRANSFORMATIONS: STUDENTS NOTIONS WHEN EXPLAINING THE FACTS IN A STORY ABSTRACT This paper constitutes a case study developed with students from technical education integrated with intermediate education. Interviews were developed and organized from a story that was constructed with the objective of contextualizing situations in which a chemical transformation is analyzed. The purpose was to learn about the notions presented by students while elaborating explanations for the facts covered in the story. It was perceived that students faced difficulties in applying the knowledge studied in the science and chemistry classes to analyze daily facts, and that they make use of notions that differ from those that are scientifically accepted.
