INDIGENOUS PEOPLES: FROM THE DENIAL OF IDENTITY AND TERRITORY TO THE ORIGINAL RIGHT TO LAND IN THE AMAZON

The article intends to demonstrate the different forms of denial and expropriation of rights to land and territory based on the denial of the identity ofindigenous peoples by government public entities in the state of Amazonas, based on the initial discussion of how the temporal framework comes to hurt and deny these rights. Constitutional and fundamental; territorial conflicts through the process of repossession of the Pantaleão Indigenous Land (FUNAI, Municipality of Autazes and Mura Indigenous Peoples) and the exploitation of Silvinita (municipal and state governments allied with Potássio do Brasil and the Mura) in the municipality of Autazes-AM and fi nally, the right to the city by the indigenous people based on the right to land in the Federal Constitution
of 1988 and proposals for land regularization of indigenous communities in Manaus. The analyzes and reflections of the reported cases are based on technical works carried out and other projects under discussion and development by the authors in the state of Amazonas.
